Faced with the climate and ecological emergency, and rural depopulation, young women play a key role in building a fairer and more resilient future, with people and the earth. On this day we will get to know the "Ruralization" project closely. Based on the experiences interviewed, we will discover generational agricultural relief initiatives through agroecological projects, and we will discuss the difficulties and challenges faced by young people in accessing land.

In addition, the Ecomuseu del Blat will offer us a practical workshop on making artisan bread with a wood-fired oven, and we will take a tour of the organic vegetable garden. Finally, the UVIC-UCC Rural World Chair will present the second prizes for Rural Innovation, highlighting innovative projects from Lluçanès and Central Catalonia that can provide a local response to the great global challenges we face.

PROGRAM
9.30am to 10am. Reception of participants.

10am to 11.15am. Bread workshop and organic vegetable garden.

Very fun and participative activity, where we will get to know the whole production process
of artisanal bread and with a wood-fired oven, and we will discover the organic vegetable garden and its products
production processes.

11.15am to 11.45am. coffee break

11.45am to 1pm. Presentation of the Ruralization project and participatory session.

The Ruralization project is dedicated to encouraging and facilitating access to land, the
generational agricultural relief and agroecology, with the collaboration of the
communities and local authorities. We will present some of the main results
of the project and we will discuss how to facilitate the generational transition.

1pm to 1.45pm. Rural Innovation Awards.

Presentation of the awards to the winning projects in the Lluçanès and Central Catalonia categories with the Rural World Chair and the Prats de Lluçanès Town Council.
