Gadja Mada University organizes the first International Conference on Sustainable Agricultural Socioeconomics, Agribusiness and Rural Development (ICSASARD) 2021, dated September 22, 2021. Likewise, this conference will be held online due to COVID-19.

The main topic to be discussed is the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and how technology has become and indispensable element in our lives. As well as the importance of this issue within the agricultural sector that plays a big role in agricultural development. In addition, the rural world must be empowered and familiarized with technology, so that agricultural management can meet both ecological and environmental needs. Topics of the conference also include the promotion of agricultural businesses, in order to open new opportunities and improve the development of this sector.

Further, this event will have various approaches towards agricultural management, agriculture and rural development, human resource development, ICT for agricultural development, agribusiness, cooperatives and agricultural financing, and sustainable agriculture and agribusiness.
