		Rural Connections Webinar #2 - Vision for the Future of Rural Areas image

An online meetic on rural connections will be held on 7 June 2021, in order to exchange knowledge and best practices between different EU projects working on different aspects related to rural development.

The main objective is to support RURITAGE Role Models and Replicators in implementing their different action plans in rural regeneration. Also, our target audience is RURITAGE Role Models and Replicators, however, this webinar will be open to all public through the RURITAGE facebook account.
On the other hand, this event is funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, RURITAGE has 18 partners from different countries. The profiles of these partners are not only researchers but also implement innovative practices so a wide range of perspectives and situations are guaranteed. Furthermore, during the webinar, the project will present findings regarding rural trends.

The Sustainable Centre for Engaging with Stakeholders on Rural Policies (SHERPA), a four-year project with 17 partners funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, will also participate in the webinar. The aim of SHERPA is to provide knowledge to help formulate future policies linked to rural areas in the European Union. During the webinar, they will present the results obtained in the various discussions held on the SHERPA platform including learning lessons and follow-up work.

Rural Connections. Webinar series for knowledge exchange with EU Rural projects, is a set of three webinars involving RURITAGE and a group of European rural projects. The main objective of this series is to exchange knowledge and best practices between EU projects working on different aspects related to rural development, with the view to support RURITAGE partners in the implementation of their rural regeneration action plans.
