Online Training Course

This week RURALIZATION has been asked to present our project activities within the online training course ā€œYouth Worker & Rural Heritage Promotionā€, organized in cooperation with the European Erasmus+ program. The course is aimed at participants from 6 countries: Spain, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Brazil and Argentina

VIRTUAL TRAINING COURSE

When? From Tuesday 27th to Thursday 29th of April 2021

Length 30 hours:
12 hs. by Zoom 4 hours per day: 14.00-18.00 (CET Bruxelles time, be careful with your time zone)

  • 18 hours of individual study

Methodology: plenary meetings with presentations by experts to develop content and concepts related to rural heritage, territorial development, urban agriculture and ICT applied to them; group meetings between participants from different countries to work on the concepts addressed and promote the exchange of local experiences;

The exhibitors will preferably speak in English, if not possible they will do so in their language, but projecting / sharing slides / presentations translated into English.

The three sessions will follow the same format: first plenary part where experts /trainers invited by the different partners of the project will introduce the main concepts, present case histories and experiences; second part of work in groups / teams (through zoom rooms) (3 groups of 9 participants from different countries * see detail below); last plenary part to close and share group work.

This Thursday, 29th April 2021 the project coordinator of Ruralization, Prof. Korthals Altes, will speak about this EU project and how it is based on the premise that rural regeneration is needed to generate opportunities for new generations of existing and potential rural inhabitants. Newcomers and new entrants in the farming are key players for bringing innovation into rural areas.
